The Final Leg - HoHo.

After finishing the second chapter in my adventure of a life time it opened up a whole new one, HoHo. The thing i was most looking forward to about HoHo was just the country we were going to because i thought it would be a country i may not visit. Landing in the Czech Republic we got a coach with a bus driver who didn't know where he was going we finally made it to our camp for the next four days.

It wasn't like that when we arrived a lot darker.

The accomodation for our stay was teepees which slept seven people around the outside and you had the opportunity to have a fire on those cold evenings.

Our new Czech friends were very kind to us letting us take part in the summer camp and do the same activities as them. A lot of the activities were aimed at the younger ones but it made no difference to us as we have about the same mental age as them.

The food we had was a lot different to what we would normally have on our summer camps but you managed to get through it, i think our favourite part of the food would be cake for breakfast!!

Leaving our new Czech friends behind after being so close in the few days we were there was sad as they were a good bunch of people but i think it was the best ending to an experience i will never forget.

After 3 weeks of sleeping and living together you can imagine we were all very tired and it didn't help that we had to wait in Brussels aiport for 7 hours. We managed to find some seats and take a a well diserved sleep .

The jamboree experience brought together 40 scouts from around Northumberland into a unit which nobody can take away. It also gave us the best memories you could ask for and the best friends you can ask for.
